LaFemina™ is a Probiotic Formulation to
Maintain Optimal pH Level in a Woman’s body,
with Special Focus on:
Addresses Vaginal Discharge Odor & Itching (Yeast Infection).
Promotes Lubrication & Vaginal Firmness
Promotes the Body’s Natural Microbial Balance
LaFemina’s™ ingredients work to
Eliminate Vaginal Odor & Discharge
in as little as 3 Days.

Our body relies on the immune system to fight all sorts of infections and pathogens daily, like virus, bacteria, fungi, and parasites.

When a woman is stressed her reproductive system is tipped into a state of imbalance, causing episodes of dryness and increased susceptibility to yeast infections. LaFemina™ is used as a health promoting supplement to maintain the body pH equilibrium to prevent the formation of pathogens.

pH stands for “Potential Hydrogen” and is used to describe the acid-alkaline ratio of a substance, which ranges from 0 (the most acidic) to 14 (the most alkaline).
Low pH
High pH
Vaginal pH Level
Neutral
At this optimum pH level, your vagina contains a balance of necessary bacteria and some yeast cells.
Alcaline
When vaginal pH has become too alkaline, odor-causing bacteria can flourish so your vagina may smell fishy or unpleasant.
The pH balance is a fundamental component of your vaginal health.
What does this have to do with you?

The health of your body, having beautiful skin, and vaginal health (free of unpleasant odor) are directly linked to maintaining the right balance between acidity and alkalinity. As it turns out, our body functions and looks best in a middle-ground pH.

A more alkaline pH promotes the growth, for instance, of Candida albicans, the fungus that leads to yeast infections. Other types of vaginitis, such as bacterial vaginosis (BV), are also encouraged by pH imbalance.

pH and Skin Beauty

Our skin works best when it is slightly acidic at a 5.5 pH balance. When it’s too alkaline, skin becomes dry and sensitive and you may even get eczema.

You may also experience inflammation, which inhibits the skin’s ability to ward off matrix metalloproteinases [MMPs], the enzymes that destroy collagen and causes wrinkles and sagging.

According to a 2010 study published in the British Journal of Dermatology that tracked women’s skin over an eight-year period, women with an alkaline stratum corneum (the skin’s outermost layer) developed more fine lines and crow’s-feet and were more prone to sun damage than those with acidic skin.

At the other end of the spectrum – although rare – skin can become too acidic. In this condition the result is often angry breakouts, even for those of us who rarely get a pimple. When skin deviates too far south of that magical 5.5 number, it’s also stripped down to the point of being red, inflamed, and painful to touch.

Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is the leading causes of vaginal odor
The Cause of Vaginal Odor Discharge

The medical name for the cause of vaginal odor is bacterial vaginosis (BV) and it is the most common vaginal infection in women between ages of 15-44. BV is an infection caused when too much of certain bacteria change the normal balance of bacteria in the vagina.

Some other causes of BV have been linked to factors such as having a new sex partner or multiple sex partners, and douching. Douching can upset the balance of bacteria in the vagina and put women at increased risk of BV infection. We do not know how sex contributes to BV. BV is not considered as an STD (sexually transmitted disease), but having BV can increase your chances of getting an STD. BV may also affect women who have never had sex. You cannot get BV from toilet seats, bedding, or swimming pools.

Maintaining a healthy vaginal pH within the normal range is the best way to prevent vaginal odor. Studies show that vaginal issues often occur when vaginal pH is unbalanced. By maintaining a healthy vaginal pH, you can help reduce your risk of vaginal issues. When an individual’s pH goes off the rail, the vaginal pH also becomes unbalanced, causing odor-causing microorganisms to flourish. LaFemina’s™ main benefit is banishing those pesky odors that cause social embarrassment and low self-esteem.

If you have experienced vaginal odor, you are not alone. On average, 1 out of 3 women suffer from vaginal odor in a year. These same individuals can sometimes experience vaginal odor up to 10 times per year. Don’t think you are an exception! Studies have found that most women will experience feminine odor at some point in their lives.

The thing is you can feel very alone when you are the one with vaginal odor. The situation can be embarrassing, so much so that you do not turn to your usual confidantes, friends, and family to discuss the problem. You may even avoid discussing it with your doctor.

In fact, in one Health.com poll, 47% of women admitted to ignoring a health problem because of embarrassment. Here is what you must know: You are in the company of millions of women who have to deal with the issue of vaginal odor. It is not your fault – vaginal odor occurs even when women have good hygiene. You do not have to live with it – LaFemina™ gets to the cause so that you can finally eliminate vaginal odor.

How do I know if I have Bacterial Vaginosis?

Many women with BV do not have symptoms. If you do have symptoms, you may notice a thin white or gray vaginal discharge, odor, pain, itching, or burning in the vagina. Some women have a strong fish-like odor, especially after sex. You may also felt a burning sensation during urination, itching around the outside of the vagina, or both.

LaFemina™
Formulated to be a total Feminine product
Not only it is designed to attack the root causes of your current Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) but also their recurrence.
The ingredients in LaFemina™ can assist in the re-establishment of the natural Lactobacillus in your vagina and significantly boost your immune system to fight your existing condition and its recurrence. LaFemina™ was formulated specifically for Bacterial Vaginosis, but there are many other benefits.

BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) is associated with an imbalance in the bacteria that is normally found in a woman’s vagina. The vagina normally contains mostly “good” bacteria and fewer “harmful” bacteria. BV develops when there is a change in the environment of the vagina that causes an increase in harmful bacteria. Bacterial Vaginosis involves the loss of the normal Lactobacillus bacteria and the growth of pathologic anaerobic bacteria.

How it Works? With one capsule taken daily, you can take control and help maintain vaginal flora within a normal range. Lactobacillus, yeast, and other bacteria are all naturally present in your body, and optimum vaginal health occurs when there is a healthy balance of these elements. LaFemina™ is clinically shown to provide healthy probiotic lactobacillus that works with your body to balance yeast and bacteria.

More Harm than Good
Vaginal Douching
Washing or Cleaning out the vaginal

To get rid of unpleasant odors, many women resort to vaginal douching. The word ‘’douche’’ is French for ‘’wash’’ or ‘’soak.’’ It is a method of washing out the vagina, usually with a mixture of water and vinegar. So why is cleaning considered bad for the vagina?

For one, the chemicals that are used in a vaginal douche may kill ALL forms of bacteria, good and bad. Although the vagina is clean right after douching, there are no good bacteria to fend off bad ones from growing. This often leads to an infection forming after douches. Another reason is that the vagina was not meant to absorb harsh chemicals, which can lead to irritation and soreness of the vaginal wall.

In fact, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) have said that you should avoid douching as it can increase the risk of infections.

1
Vaginal infections (bacterial vaginosis). Douching upsets the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina (called vaginal flora). These changes make the environment more favorable for the growth of bacteria that cause infection. Studies have found that women who stopped douching were less likely to have bacterial vaginosis. Having bacterial vaginosis can increase the risk of preterm labor and endometriosis.
2
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). PID is an infection of the uterus, fallopian tubes, and/or ovaries. Research has found that women who douche may have a 73% higher risk of getting PID.
3
Pregnancy complications. Women who douche more than once a week have more difficulty getting pregnant than those who don’t douche. Douching may also increase the risk of ectopic pregnancy by as much as 76%. With an ectopic pregnancy, the embryo implants outside the uterus. The more a woman douches, the greater the risk of having an ectopic pregnancy.
4
Cervical cancer. Douching at least once a week has been linked to a possible increased chance of developing cervical cancer.
